My name is Andrew! You've likely seen me around the neighborhood walking with my wife and daughter. Or maybe out watering the flowers on our stoop.

Anyway! I'm starting a garden steward business, serving exclusively Near West Side, or really just our little section of it. Let's make our land beautiful. Our yards can feed our pollinators, ourselves or our neighbors. Native grasses, sedges, flowers, shrubs that give back to the soil and help resist drought. More formal set-ups... we can do whatever you'd like.

I am a team of one. My goal is to help you turn traditional grass yards and parkways into beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes that give something back to our neighborhood. We have perfect sized front lots for all sorts of fun set-ups.

A Quick Note:

I'm not trying to be a millionaire. I don't want to rip you off. I rent here and we would love to raise our daughter here indefinitely. I want to do what I love while sharing it with my community so that we can all enjoy our space just that little bit more. I'm trying to be a hyperlocal “Garden Steward”.

I was an organic produce and cannabis farmer in Oregon for years before moving to Chicago. We focused a lot on permaculture. This is a skill set I have, and I love to share it. If I can do that and raise my kid in an even more beautiful neighborhood then what’s the harm?

If you want to enjoy a garden, grow your own food, have more privacy, give back to the soil, reduce your upkeep, switch up your look, cut back on your lawn or eliminate it entirely — or some of each — but don't have the time, knowledge, or budget, then I'm your guy. Let me help.
